Brilliant piece of kit for the price. I've been using this PCB repair soldering station to fix Nintendo Switch motherboards and the hot air gun makes removing the USB-C ports an absolute breeze. Fast heat up and the UK plug is a relief.
I ordered this electronics soldering kit on a Tuesday and it arrived Wednesday. The build quality is solid. Having the iron and hot air in one unit has saved so much space on my desk. The included desoldering pump is surprisingly good quality too.
As an electronics engineering lecturer, I frequently recommend starter stations to students. The PID temperature stability on this digital soldering station rivals units that cost three times as much. The auto-cool down feature on the hot air handle is an excellent safety touch.
A very capable 2 in 1 rework station. The iron heats up to 350°C in seconds and the accessories are genuinely useful, not just filler. My only minor gripe is that the base unit is slightly heavier than I expected, but it does mean it stays put on the bench.
Upgraded from a cheap generic iron to this SMD hot air station and the difference is night and day. The brass wool cleaner and extra tips meant I could start my drone repair immediately. Way better value than the Yihua setups I was looking at.
Great soldering station with hot air gun. Used it to recap an old Amiga 500. The iron holds temp perfectly. The hot air cable is a tiny bit stiff initially, but it loosens up after a few uses. Overall, a fantastic addition to the workshop.
At SolderAir, we understand the frustration of a cluttered workbench. For years, UK makers, hobbyists, and repair technicians have had to choose between underpowered standalone irons or prohibitively expensive, bulky industrial equipment. We founded SolderAir to provide a smarter alternative: high-quality, space-saving tools designed specifically for the modern electronics bench.
Our flagship 2-in-1 stations combine precision soldering with powerful hot air rework capabilities, eliminating the need to buy and plug in separate devices. We know that when you are deep into a complex PCB repair or custom mechanical keyboard build, you need tools that heat up fast, hold their temperature accurately, and are ready to use the moment inspiration strikes.
That is why every SolderAir kit is designed with the British user in mind. From the factory-fitted, fused UK 3-pin plug to the comprehensive bundle of accessories-including tips, nozzles, and a desoldering pump-we ensure you have everything required to start your next project straight out of the box. Fully CE, UKCA, and RoHS compliant, our stations deliver the safety, reliability, and performance that UK electronics enthusiasts demand.
Our products are designed and supported in the UK, ensuring superior quality and fast tracked delivery from our British warehouse. We offer free UK delivery on all orders, eco-friendly packaging to reduce carbon footprint, and warm, direct customer service. Every order is backed by a generous 30-day returns policy under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — you are always protected.
